Big Sky Hobby is a retail hobby store located in Eagan, MN. We specialize in RC airplanes and helicopters, and we also dip into RC boats, cars and trucks. We welcome any kind of special orders! We opened in this location on October 1, 2008, and we are quickly growing.
Big Sky Hobby is owned by Jeremy Steinmueller, who has not only been involved in all kinds of RC for over 20 years, he has worked in and owned RC hobby shops for over 15 years! He is well-known throughout the Midwest and even the nation for his knowledge and expertise. Jeremy is at the store every day during business hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm, with Yoshi the Big Sky Hobby Mascot. Our new website went live in March 2009, with about 2,000 products. We are adding more products every day! If you have something specific in mind that you'd like to see on here, please let us know! We are working continuously to optimize our services to meet your needs.
We are extremely active in our community, and are glad to donate prizes or give discounts on mechandise for any of your events - RC or not! Most recently, Big Sky Hobby donated several gift certificates to a basketball tournament for deaf children. We are also excited to promote all kinds of RC events, be it local club meetings or huge swap meets! Send your event information or flyer to

Jeremy is also happy to come to your (local!) club meetings and speak on a topic of your choosing, or demonstrate the newest merchandise! Most recently, he spoke to a Twin Cities club about how to get the most money for your used RC merchandise on eBay and at swap meets!
Big Sky Hobby Events:
Join us for our bi-annual swap meets right in our parking lot! There is no seller's fee, and everyone is welcome. The swap meet runs from 8am to noon, and there is a hot, complimentary brunch available to all attendees. The store is open for business, and people come from all over the Midwest to buy and sell RC merchandise! We have great prizes (the grand prize in May was a Real Flight G4.5!) and in-store specials as well. This year, the swap meets will be held Sunday, May 17, 2009 and Sunday, September 20, 2009.
We also hold an annual Christmas party - this year, it will be held during store hours, 10 am – 6 pm, on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Join us for some great holiday food, Christmas candy and eggnog, as well as prizes and in-store specials! Everyone is welcome!
